Materials Cost: A limited amount of copper is available free of charge. All silver and gem stones are to be bought by students (we are happy to advise.
This course is designed for students of any level to try new techniques of jewellery making. You have the chance to design and make in copper and silver. Develop your own designs and incorporated beads or gem stone.
Absolute Beginners
We will teach you how to make a copper ring from sheet, you will learn to solder, polish and form. Moving on to piercing ( cutting outing with a saw) a pattern and making a ring. Guidance will be given if you want to make in silver
Intermediate
This is much more student lead, we will help you develop your designs using a number of different techniques. Whether it is forging, fold forming, repousse you will never be a lose to learn a new challenging technique or refreshing an old skill
